Would Your Marketing Be More Effective if You Took Your Clothes Off To Do It?

by The Obvious Expert on July 2, 2009

Many of the people who read The Obvious Expert blog are small-scale businessmen and business women. They are consultants, coaches, sole practitioners, and start-up entrepreneurs who are building or growing their business, service, or practice and don’t fall into the category of big business (yet).

But sometimes we run across business marketing that is so outstanding, we feel we have to share it here on the blog, even if the business doing it is anything but small. Air New Zealand has pulled off just such a masterful feat.

Masterful Business Marketing

Think back to all the airline safety instructions you, personally, have ignored. If you fly Air New Zealand, you will never ignore the safety instructions again.

Air New Zealand has created an air safety instruction video that can only be called “riveting”. Watch how magnetically you will be drawn to scrutinizing this air safety video, all because the flight crew featured in the film is wearing only shoes and a remarkable layer of body paint.

…And after you watch the video (shown to the right), start thinking about how you can deliver your message in a way that compels people to pay attention. Who new that one answer to that question would be body paint?
