And here is perhaps the most important quality about freelancers… they are, in fact, free. Inasmuch as being a freelancer incorporates the potential shackles that come with uncertainty about your next job, next client and next paycheck, freelancers are the only surviving workforce cowboys and cowgirls who still have the latitude to pick their jobs, walk away from unjust employers, and move on out of Dodge when Dodge turns out to be an undesirable place. Freelancers are still truly free to follow their passions and seize entrepreneurial opportunities
