Only 10 Simple Steps and You are Hosting (and Running) Your Own Blog Talk Radio Show

by The Obvious Expert on June 11, 2009

Did you listen to (and watch) the latest Blog Talk Radio webinar? Please don’t tell us you missed it!

On Tuesday night,  Elsom Eldridge Jr., interviewed Ken English, who is without a doubt, the Obvious Expert of Blog Talk Radio. This was the second interview Elsom has done recently with Ken and the second interview that you have been able to access here on the Obvious Expert blog, but it’s the first time we’ve offered it as webinar.

Using the webinar platform “GotoWebinar”, we were able to see Ken’s desktop as he spoke, enabling him to demonstrate and lead us along, step by step, unraveling the mysteries of internet radio (that turned out  to be neither mysterious nor complex).

Ken, the author of Blog Talk Radio Made Easy, promised that in the roughly 90 minutes of the webinar, he would (1) teach us how to set up our own internet radio show(s) on Blog Talk Radio, and (2) teach us how to run our own internet radio show(s). He delivered on his promise and then some.

Blog Talk Radio offers more than 800 shows currently being broadcast each day. As a communication tool, internet radio gives you the relationship building and communication power of traditional radio, without the cost. But in addition to being a great promotional, instructional, and informational tool, Blog Talk Radio is a proven way for you to literally, “talk your way to the top of Google.”

The Obvious Expert thanks Ken for this webinar and our opportunity to bring to our blog readers.

Important facts about Blog Talk Radio:

  • Once you have an account established with Blog Talk Radio, you can conduct a live streaming show from anywhere via your cell phone?
  • Setting up your account, ready to broadcast is as simple as 10 easy steps, when you follow Ken’s simple instruction?
  • That the technical skills required to set up and host your own internet radio show involve little more than being able to dial a telephone? And that while you can make your show as elaborate as any professionally produced radio or internet radio show, you can also keep it simple, and just do what you do, without the need for background music and other elaborations.
  • Your show can be a monologue (meaning that you just talk, or essentially interview yourself) or it can be a dialog in which you converse with or interview another person or other people.
  • And did you know that if you missed the Blog Talk Radio Webinar, you will have another chance to learn and master—at no cost—this highly beneficial business marketing skill?

At a date yet to be determined, Elsom will interview Ken for a third time and you will again be invited to join. We promise to give you as much notice as possible, and to invite, beg, nudge, prod, and threaten you again, reminding you that you will be tremendously happy if you attend the next webinar and extremely disappointed if you don’t–that’s how good this stuff is!
